You are one of those people who decided to learn Chinese? Smart, congratulations ;-) ! There will be more and more people following you, so give yourself a head start. This blog will provide you with various (hopefully) valuable informations:
In the Articles section you will find general informations about China and Chinese language. Feel free to look through. However the main focus of this blog is on Chengyu. Those are 4-character proverbs that are very commonly used in Chinese. If you already have some basic to intermediate Chinese skills you should learn a few of them, since they are used in everyday language and show your Chinese proficiency. Moreover there are some nice Songs, as well as common Proverbs and my experiences in China.
And even if you don’t know any Chinese yet, but just want to inform yourself in general, this is also a very good starting point. Maybe you want to know what life is like in China, how to travel in China or why you should learn Chinese?
